Job summary

YMCA of Greater Toledo is seeking a Part-Time Lifeguard to help keep swimmers safe and enjoy the water at our facility. Work on-site with early bird (5am–9am) and daytime (9am–2pm) shifts. The role offers competitive pay ($11.50–$13.73 per hour) and benefits including YMCA membership and Paid Time Off.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard certification and ongoing CPR/First Aid/AED training required.
• Active lifeguard duties include constant surveillance and swimmer safety.
• Must be able to perform water rescues and provide emergency care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool area and ensure swimmers follow rules.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate rescue techniques and first aid.
• Maintain pool safety equipment and supervise entry/exit points.
