Job summary

Gold's Gym PNW – Gold’s Aquatics Club is seeking highly motivated and experienced Swim Coaches to develop a comprehensive training program for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. You will provide guidance, instruction, and support while fostering a positive, inclusive team environment.

This role requires 1-3 years coaching experience, deep understanding of swimming techniques and training principles, strong leadership, collaboration, and current Lifeguarding/CPR/AED/First Aid certification

Qualifications

• 1-3 years coaching experience with swimmers at various levels.
• Deep understanding of swimming techniques, training principles, and competitive strategies.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
• Excellent communication, oral and written, and interpersonal skills.
• Current Lifeguarding, CPR, AED and First Aid certification, and USA Swimming certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Exemplary Leadership: Conduct regular practice sessions and provide on-deck coaching.
• Team Player: Work closely with head coach and other coaches for consistent coaching and program implementation.
• Goal Setting: Guide and support swimmers in setting and achieving ambitious goals, implementing effective training plans for swimmers' improvement.
• Mentorship: Evaluate swimmers' progress and provide individualized feedback.
• Event Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating home swim meets.
• Master Communicator: Communicate regularly with swimmers, parents, and club management.
• Ongoing Improvement: Stay updated with the latest coaching techniques and trends.
• Employee Excellence: Adhere to club policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
