Gold’s Gym Washington is seeking a highly motivated Age Group Coach for its Gold’s Aquatic Club in Woodinville, WA. This position involves helping young swimmers develop their skills in all four strokes and preparing for championship meets. Responsibilities include conducting practice sessions, working with other coaches, providing feedback, and adhering to safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in competitive swimming, excellent leadership skills, and current lifeguarding certifications. This is a part-time role with specific weekday and Saturday availability required.

Qualifications

• Background of year-round swimming with proven ability to instruct drills and techniques.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
• Excellent communication, oral and written, and interpersonal skills.
• Current Certification in lifeguarding, CPR, AED, and FIRST AID.

Responsibilities

• Help conduct regular practice sessions and provide on-deck coaching.
• Work closely with the head coach and other coaches for consistent coaching.
• Guide and support swimmers in setting and achieving ambitious goals.
• Evaluate swimmers’ progress and provide individualized feedback.
• Communicate regularly with swimmers, parents, and club management.
