Gold's Gym Washington is looking for a highly motivated age group coach for its Aquatic Club in Woodinville. This role involves training younger swimmers, leading practice sessions, and ensuring a positive team environment. Candidates should possess a background in competitive swimming and leadership skills, along with necessary certifications. Working hours are part-time, mainly weekday evenings and Saturday mornings, with no relocation offered for this onsite position. Join our team and help develop the next generation of swimmers!
Qualifications
Background of year round swimming with proven ability to instruct drills and techniques.
Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
Must come prepared and ready for all shifts on time.
Excellent communication, oral and written, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work from 4:30PM-7:30PM on weekdays and 7:00AM-12:00PM on Saturdays.
Current Certification in lifeguarding, CPR, AED, FIRST AID, and USA Swimming.
Responsibilities
Help conduct regular practice sessions and provide on-deck coaching.
Work closely with the head coach and other coaches for consistent coaching.
Guide and support swimmers in setting and achieving ambitious goals.
Evaluate swimmers’ progress and provide individualized feedback.
Communicate regularly with swimmers, parents, and club management.
Stay updated with the latest coaching techniques and trends.
