Job summary
Deerfield Park District's COHO Swim Club is seeking a part-time Assistant Coach to work with swimmers of various ages and abilities at Deerfield High School and Sachs Recreation Center.
Under the supervision of the Head Coach, you will provide instruction and training, maintain safety standards, and help coordinate meets. A current USA Swimming membership and required certifications are needed at hire; a competitive hourly wage will be offered, with a flexible schedule.
Qualifications
- One year of coaching experience with intermediate or advanced swimmers preferred.
- Current USA Swimming memberships and required certifications at hire time.
- Enthusiasm for working with children and ability to teach competitive swimming.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction and training to swimmers under COHO Head Coach guidance.
- Assist in coaching lead groups and maintaining program quality.
- Support scheduling and logistics for meets; may include travel expenses.
