Job summary

Mercy Health in Kings Mills, OH is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team. This part-time role (24 hours weekly) delivers sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment and assists during operative procedures.

The successful candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology, be eligible for CST/NBSTA/TS-C/NCCT certification, and ideally one year of perioperative experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, Vocational Certification, or Military Certificate in Surgical Technology (required).
• Must be certified by CST, NBSTA, TS-C, or NCCT (or equivalent).
• One year of perioperative or related surgical technology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team during the procedure and maintains aseptic technique.
• Prepares, maintains, and organizes sterile supplies and instruments for the procedure.
• Assists with special instruments, supplies, and equipment as required for the procedure.
• Assists with pre- and post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and instruments.
• Prepares and performs surgical skin prep and clipping as indicated by the procedure.
