Job summary

Revo/ i-Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a part-time role at the Crosstown Surgery Center in Edina, MN. The position requires assisting in the OR, preparing sterile fields, and supporting the surgical team throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate will have surgical technology training, CST certification, and BLS; OR experience and AST membership are a plus. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a 12-month commitment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program preferred.
• Surgical Technologist Certification through governing body preferred.
• One year of Operating Room experience in the last 3 years preferred.
• Current member of the A.S.T. preferred.
• Current BLS certification or completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with obtaining equipment and supplies for procedures and prepare the surgical suite.
• Prepare sterile instrument tables and check instruments for cleanliness and function.
• Ensure all needed instruments and supplies are available with complete sets before incision.
• Maintain aseptic environment throughout intraoperative process.
• Assist surgeon and team with all phases of the procedure.
• Label medications per policies and procedures.
• Operate specialty instruments and equipment unique to the OR.
• Handle specimens per policies and procedures.
• Assist with OR cleaning between cases and after last case.

Education

Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program
