Job summary

Revo Health in Edina, MN is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team. This 0.8 FTE part-time role offers typical 6:30 AM - 3 PM shifts with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities include sterile setup, instrument prep, aseptic technique, and assisting surgeons throughout procedures. Requires program graduate status; CST certification preferred and BLS on hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program preferred.
• Surgical Technologist Certification through governing body preferred.
• One year of operating room experience in the last 3 years preferred.
• Current AST membership preferred.
• Current BLS certification or completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with obtaining equipment and supplies for procedures and prep the surgical suite.
• Prepare sterile instrument tables and check instruments for cleanliness and function.
• Ensure all needed instruments and supplies are available before incision.
• Maintain aseptic environment throughout the intraoperative process.
• Assist the surgeon and team during all phases of surgery.
• Apply knowledge to anticipate needs of the surgeon during intraoperative phase.
• Label medications per policy and ensure proper handling of specimens.
• Operate specialty instruments and equipment unique to the OR.
• Assist in cleaning the OR between cases and at day’s end.
