Job summary

Revo Health is seeking a part-time Certified Surgical Technologist for Edina, MN. This role supports the operating room team with sterile technique and instrument handling, across 4 eight-hour shifts weekly, Monday to Friday with a rotating day off at Edina Specialty Surgery Center.

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus with a 12-month commitment and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental & vision, 401K with profit sharing, tuition reimbursement, and gym & car rental

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program preferred.
Surgical Technologist Certification through governing body preferred.
One year of Operating Room experience in the last 3 years preferred.
Current member of the A.S.T. preferred.
Current BLS certification or completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

Assists with obtaining equipment and supplies for scheduled procedures and prepares the surgical suite.
Prepares sterile instrument tables and checks instruments for cleanliness and function.
Ensures all needed instruments and supplies are available prior to incision.
Maintains aseptic environment throughout the intraoperative process.
Assists the surgeon and team with all phases of the procedure.
Applies knowledge of surgical procedures to anticipate needs during surgery.
Labels medications per policy.
