Job summary

EyeCare Partners Surgery Center in Wichita, KS is seeking a Surgical Technician (Part Time) to assist in operations under the supervision of surgeons and nurses. The role supports the OR team, maintains sterility, and helps with setup, equipment readiness, and patient transport to PACU as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of OR experience preferred, and a BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of hospital main operating room experience preferred.
• BLS certification may be required (from licensure section).

Responsibilities

• Assists in surgical operations under supervision of Surgeons, RNs and Surgical Assistants.
• Maintains organization and daily function of the operating room.
• Preps, drapes and positions the patient for surgery and gathers supplies.
• Ensures sterile technique and handles instruments and equipment.
