Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a PRN Surgical Tech for our private practice–style plastics setting. The role focuses on instrument handling, sterile technique, and assisting the surgeon throughout procedures.

You will prepare drapes, maintain sterile fields, and support the team during cases. A minimum of 2 years' surgical tech experience and knowledge of sterilization are required; certification is preferred. Shift varies, typically 6:30am–6pm, part-time.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Surgical Tech experience.
• Plastics in a private office setting a plus.
• Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.
• Knowledge in sterilization and processing.

Responsibilities

• Gathers, checks, and opens supplies and equipment needed for the surgical procedure.
• Set up sterile back table and Mayo stand with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for the procedure.
• Anticipates the needs of the Surgeon by passing instruments and supplies to Surgeon during procedure.
• Assists with draping the patient and establishing the sterile field.
• Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization.
• Assists other members of the team with terminal cleaning of room.
• Assists in prepping the OR for the next patient.
• Anticipates additional supplies needed during the procedure.
