Job summary

Qualifications

• Surgical technologist certification required.

• Knowledge of sterilization and processing.

Responsibilities

• Set up the sterile back table and Mayo stand with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications as needed.
• Anticipate the surgeon's needs by passing instruments and supplies during the procedure.
• Assist with draping and establishing the sterile field; prep the OR for the next patient.
• Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization and assist with room cleaning afterward.
