Job summary

Surgi-Center of Central VA is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant for a part-time position in our Fredericksburg, VA outpatient facility. You will assist surgeons, prepare instruments, and maintain sterile fields to support safe procedures and patient care throughout the surgical process.

Qualified candidates hold NBSTSA CSFA certification, complete a Surgical Technician Program, and possess a High School Diploma/GED.

Qualifications

• NBSTSA Surgical First Assistant Certification required.
• Completion of Surgical Technician Program.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons, arrange and hand over tools, and hold incisions as needed.
• Drape, prep and dress surgical wounds while maintaining sterile fields.
