Surgi-Center of Central VA is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant to join our outpatient team. The successful candidate will assist surgeons, provide instrument support, and help manage wound dressings while maintaining strict sterile technique.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of a surgical technician program, and NBSTSA Surgical First Assistant certification. Two years of multi-specialty experience preferred; willing to back-up OR scrub duties.

Qualificações

• Completion of a surgical technician program is required.
• NBSTSA Surgical First Assistant certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist surgeons by handing instruments and arranging supplies.
• Hold incisions and assist with wound dressing during procedures.
