Pittsburgh Mercy is hiring a Casual Pool Specialist to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential and/or day programs. This part-time, as-needed role offers a flexible schedule and an hourly non-exempt employment status.

You will help residents with daily living skills, promote independence, document progress, and collaborate with the care team. Training and development opportunities are provided, with a commitment to compassionate, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive an organization vehicle
• Local travel and reliable transportation
• Act 33/34/73 Clearances
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and TB test
• Complete Medication Training within 90 days of hire

Responsabilités

• Support individuals with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, etc.)
• Promote independence through person-centered plans
• Foster a positive, supportive environment
• Accurately document progress and observations
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors
• Participate in training and development
