Job summary

Pittsburgh Mercy is seeking a Casual Pool Specialist to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential and/or day programs. This part-time, flexible, as-needed role offers schedule flexibility and year-round availability.

The role is non-exempt and hourly, with rotating shifts including weekends and holidays; a minimum of 4 shifts per month and opportunities for additional hours are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Local travel and reliable transportation
• Act 33/34/73 Clearances
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and TB test
• Complete Medication Training within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, etc.)
• Promote independence through person-centered plans
• Foster a positive, supportive environment
• Accurately document progress and observations
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors
• Participate in training and development
