Job summary

Pittsburgh Mercy is seeking a Casual Pool Specialist to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our residential and day programs. This part-time, flexible, as-needed role lets you make a difference while choosing a schedule that fits your needs.

You will assist with daily living skills, promote independence through person-centered plans, document progress, and collaborate with a caring team. A strong commitment to safety and dependability is essential.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive an organization vehicle.
Local travel and reliable transportation.
Act 33/34/73 Clearances.
Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and TB test.
Complete Medication Training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Support individuals with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, etc.).
Promote independence through person-centered plans.
Foster a positive, supportive environment.
Accurately document progress and observations.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors.
Participate in training and development.
