Pittsburgh Mercy is seeking a Casual Pool Specialist to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential and/or day programs. This part-time, as-needed role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the community.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living skills, promoting independence, documenting progress, collaborating with the team, and participating in ongoing training and development.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Act 33/34/73 clearances required or able to obtain.
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and TB test required.
• Complete Medication Training within 90 days of hire.

Position Purpose

As a Casual Pool Specialist, you will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our residential and/or day programs. This part-time, flexible, as-needed role allows you to make a difference while choosing a schedule that fits your needs.

What You Will Do

• Support individuals with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, etc.)
• Promote independence through person-centered plans
• Foster a positive, supportive environment
• Accurately document progress and observations
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors
• Participate in training and development

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Local travel and reliable transportation
• Act 33/34/73 Clearances
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and TB test
• Complete Medication Training within 90 days of hire

Schedule

This is a Non-Exempt (hourly) position. Consistent year-round availability is essential, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• Minimum of 4 shifts per month

• Option to pick up additional shifts
