Job summary

Pittsburgh Mercy is seeking a Casual Pool Specialist to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our residential and/or day programs. This part-time, flexible, as-needed role lets you choose a schedule that fits your needs.

You will help with daily living skills, document progress, and collaborate with the team while rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. This role offers meaningful work and opportunities for growth within our organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive an organization vehicle.
• Local travel and reliable transportation.
• Act 33/34/73 Clearances.
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and TB test.
• Complete Medication Training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, etc.).
• Promote independence through person-centered plans.
• Foster a positive, supportive environment.
• Accurately document progress and observations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors.
• Participate in training and development.
