Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Anderson, SC is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate to support branch inventory, procurement, sourcing and quoting for our customer base. The role involves assisting with B2B operations and may offer flexible scheduling after onboarding.

Responsibilities include managing inventory, processing POs and backorders, sourcing products, coordinating with customers, and aiding AR activities. A valid driver's license and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess or pursuing a degree in business or related field, or relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

• Strong math aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage branch inventory levels.
• Administer procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management.
• Estimate/quote prices and source products.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer supply chain needs.
• Support accounts receivable activities.
• Make deliveries with a company vehicle as needed.
• Perform other duties to ensure branch success.
