Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate in Frankfort, KY to manage branch inventory, handle procurement tasks, and quote pricing for customer orders.

The role supports accounts receivable and may involve delivering supplies with a company vehicle. The position offers a part-time schedule (20–28 hours/week) with potential after onboarding for a flexible timetable, and requires a driver\'s license and basic business/SC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Driver's license and ability to use a company vehicle.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in business, supply chain, operations, management, marketing, sales, or related field, or relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong math aptitude with attention to detail.
• Strong organization and prioritization abilities.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and up to 75 lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Managing branch inventory levels.
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management.
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product.
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs.
• Supporting accounts receivable activities.
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary.
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
