Job summary

Fastenal is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate at our Wilmington, DE branch. You will manage inventory, support procurement, sourcing and quoting to meet customer needs and help drive branch success.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess a current valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements.
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field OR relevant experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong math aptitude and attention to detail.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage branch inventory levels.
• Administer procurement functions including purchase orders and backorders.
• Estimate/quote prices and source products.
• Coordinate resources to meet customer supply chain needs.
• Support accounts receivable activities.
• Perform deliveries with company vehicle as needed.
• Contribute to branch success through various duties.
