Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Fernley, NV is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate to help manage branch inventory, administer procurement, source products, and prepare quotes to meet customer needs.

You will support business-to-business operations at our 250 Logan Ln location, contributing to reliable service and efficient supply chains. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00am to 5:00pm, 10–28 hours per week, with potential flexibility after onboarding and performance milestones.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess/working toward a degree in business or related field OR relevant experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Positive, self-directed, customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage branch inventory levels.
• Administer procurement, including purchase orders and backorders.
• Estimate/quote prices and source products.
• Coordinate resources to meet customer supply chain needs.
• Support accounts receivable activities.
• May perform deliveries with company vehicle.
