Job summary

Fastenal Co. Oakdale, CA is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate to help manage inventory, handle procurement and quoting, and support B2B customer needs. The role is based at 509 Armstrong Way, Oakdale, CA 95361 with a Mon-Fri schedule and 10–28 hours per week.

You will work in a branch setting, gaining hands-on experience in procurement, sourcing, and order fulfilment while supporting accounts receivable and branch operations. A valid US driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to drive company vehicle.
• مUST be able to meet driving record requirements for use of a company vehicle
• Pursuing or holding a degree in business, supply chain, operations or related field, or relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and urgency.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.
• Demonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower 25–50 lbs, up to 75 lbs.
• Pass drug screen where required.

Responsibilities

• Manage branch inventory levels.
• Administer procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management.
• Estimate and quote prices and source products.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer supply chain needs.
• Support accounts receivable activities.
• Make deliveries with a company vehicle as needed.
• Perform other duties to ensure branch success.
