Job summary

Fastenal is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate for our Reno, NV branch. You will manage inventory, handle procurement and quoting, and support B2B customer needs while contributing to branch success.

Ideal candidates are 18+, hold a relevant degree or have related experience, possess strong communication skills, and can operate a company vehicle if required. A 401(k) plan with employer contributions is part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements for operating a company vehicle.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in business, supply chain or related field OR relevant customer service/industry work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Supporting accounts receivable activities
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success
