Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate in Taylor, MI to manage branch inventory, handle procurement and quoting, and coordinate resources for customer needs. On-site role with potential flexible scheduling after onboarding and performance goals.

The position requires 18+ years old, a valid driver’s license, and either a related degree or relevant work experience, plus strong communication and computer skills to support accounts receivable and logistics tasks.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Driver's license and ability to drive company vehicle
• Degree in related field OR relevant work experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making
• Demonstrate core values: ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages weighing 25lbs-50lbs (up to 75lbs)
• Pass the required drug screen (US, Puerto Rico, Guam)
• Pass a background check

Responsabilités

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Supporting accounts receivable activities
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success
