Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older per job posting requirements
• Possess a current full valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements to operate company vehicle
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field OR have customer service or industry-related work experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Demonstrate strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Demonstrate alignment with Fastenal's core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages weighing 25lbs-50lbs, up to 75lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (US focus)

Responsibilities

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Supporting accounts receivable activities
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success
