Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet driving record requirements to operate a company vehicle.
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field OR have customer service/industry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong math aptitude with attention to detail.
• Strong organization and prioritization abilities.
• Problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making.
• Demonstrate Fastenal’s core values: ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Ability to lift/carry 25–50 lbs and up to 75 lbs as needed.
• Pass drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manage branch inventory levels.
• Administer procurement functions including POs and backorders.
• Estimate/quote prices and source products.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer supply chain needs.
• Support accounts receivable activities.
• Make deliveries with a company vehicle as needed.
• Perform other duties to ensure branch success.
