Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate to help manage branch inventory and support procurement, sourcing, and quoting activities for our customers.

The role includes handling PO backorders, pricing estimates, and coordinating resources to meet client needs. On-site work with potential flexible scheduling after onboarding and performance goals are met.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older and eligible to work
• Valid drivers license and ability to meet driving record requirements
• Education or experience in business, supply chain or related field
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and up to 75 lbs safely
• Pass the required drug screen where applicable

Responsibilities

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Supporting accounts receivable activities
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Performing other duties to ensure branch success
