Job summary

Fastenal is seeking a Part-time Customer Supply Chain Support in Orlando to assist in inventory management, order processing, and shipping coordination. This entry-level role focuses on building experience in customer relationships and daily operations at the onsite facility.

You will learn processes, contribute to continuous improvement, and support the supply chain with accuracy and a proactive mindset. Flexible scheduling may follow onboarding and performance milestones.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work in this role.
• Pursuing or have a degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Self-motivated, customer service oriented, and comfortable in a sales-oriented environment.
• Demonstrate ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages weighing 25–50 lbs, up to 75 lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Responding and coordinating resources relative to customer requests.
• Managing inventory.
• Placing and fulfilling orders.
• Receiving and shipping inventory.
• Executing inventory fulfillment within the customer facility.
• Sourcing and quoting new and existing products.
• Participating in continuous improvement activities.
• Monetizing and reporting the value of supply chain activities to the customer.
