Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Pursuing or have a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing or related field OR related work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Self-motivated and customer service oriented.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Demonstrate Fastenal core values: ambition, innovation, integrity, teamwork.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs and up to 75 lbs in some cases.
• Pass drug screen where required.

Responsibilities

• Managing branch inventory levels.
• Administering procurement functions including purchase orders and backorder management.
• Estimating and quoting prices and sourcing products.
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs.
• Supporting accounts receivable activities.
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as needed.
• Performing other duties to ensure branch success.
