Job summary

Shiloh House in Colorado is seeking a dedicated educator to join our team. The role offers an hourly wage between $24.00 and $25.50, with pay adjusted by experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities include planning and implementing approved curriculum, drawing up and maintaining written lesson plans, supervising students during lunch and rotations, supporting staff, and meeting ongoing education requirements.

• Must work a minimum of two shifts over two consecutive months to meet the average requirement of at least one shift per month
• Plan and implement approved curriculum
• Draw-up and maintain approved individual written lesson plans
• Supervise students in the lunch room/cafeteria during assigned rotations
• Supervise support staff in the classroom and enlist special skills as needed
• Fulfill requirements for ongoing education (TTE/SEE)- May be required to participate in agency on call rotation
• Post secondary planning, resume writing, conflict resolution, Affective needs content, independent living, career exploration, etc.

Job description

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $24.00 - $25.50 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law.
