Qualifications

• Valid Washington State driver’s license for a minimum of five years.
• A commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement and school bus endorsement.
• Must have a current Washington State School Bus Driver’s Authorization from OSPI.
• Must meet physical and character standards as per WAC 392-144, including no recent three speeding tickets.
• Must possess a valid First Aid Card.
• Able to pass drug & alcohol tests as required by D.O.T. and MLSD policy.
• Able to pass a CDL physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate school bus safely to transport students.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Comply with DOT and MLSD policies, including training and testing requirements.
• Perform duties as assigned by the district.

Education

Commercial driver’s license Class A or B with passenger endorsement, school bus endorsement, and airbrake restriction removed
