Job summary

Community College of Rhode Island is seeking a part-time Case Manager to provide case management and student support services to adult education students. The role includes enrollment assistance, orientation, academic and career planning, and referrals to campus and community resources to promote persistence and successful transition.

This part-time position up to 19 hours per week involves building supportive relationships, maintaining records, and coordinating with program staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW), Psychology, Nursing or Human Services is required.
• 1–3 years of supervised experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or social services.
• Experience working with adult students and outstanding customer service.
• Proficient with CRM or data management enterprise software; strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Workspace).
• Experience supporting students from diverse backgrounds and knowledge of workforce development or adult education curricula.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and support to adult education students, assisting with enrollment, orientation, planning and referrals.
• Maintain accurate student records, progress notes, and program documentation.
• Coordinate with instructors and staff to support student success and persistence.
• Assist with outreach, enrollment, onboarding, and connecting students to community resources.
