Job summary

Oregon State University’s Food Innovation Center in Portland, OR is hiring ten part-time Student Sensory Program Technicians to assist with large consumer taste tests and sensory evaluations. The role may require weekend work; preferred test days are Tuesdays–Thursdays 8:30 am–5 pm.

Responsibilities include scheduling participants, sending confirmation emails, preparing foods, serving samples, and light lab duties.

Qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
• Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
• Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
