Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Part-Time Associate Research/Sensory Lab Technician to support sensory testing and product evaluation in the Technical Center and 19 East Sensory Lab. The role focuses on preparing samples, executing tests, and maintaining accurate records.

You will manage inventory, assist with sensory panel programs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects run smoothly, comply with safety and quality standards, and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of laboratory experience in sensory, food manufacturing, or related environments preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute sensory testing and product evaluation activities and document results.
• Support product development and technical projects with established methods and procedures.
• Manage samples, inventory, and laboratory operations to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Maintain technical documentation, testing records, schedules, and inventory tracking systems.
• Coordinate sensory panel and employee testing activities to align with project timelines.
