Moraine Valley Community College seeks a Recruitment and Retention Specialist (grant-funded, part-time-temporary) to lead recruitment and retention efforts for the Upward Bound program across all sites. You will develop and implement strategies to attract eligible participants and improve retention.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, psychology, public administration, social work or related field.
• Experience in student recruitment, admissions, academic advising, or similar student-facing roles.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills for large groups.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute a recruitment plan to meet recruitment goals.
• Build partnerships with high school administrators, counselors, staff and community organizations.
• Represent the project at recruitment fairs, community events, and school visits.
• Coordinate prospective participant events.
• Analyze retention data to identify trends.
• Plan and implement retention programming.
• Assist participants regarding academic standing, goal setting, and college/career planning.
