Job summary

Think Together in California is seeking Substitute Program Leaders (Part-Time) who will work at different sites throughout the region, serving as positive role models, coaches, and mentors to students. The role emphasizes leadership, patience, and the ability to maintain a safe, nurturing environment.

Responsibilities include homework help, enrichment, and implementing lesson plans, with a focus on safety and orderly sites.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children and ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Ability to establish authority through leadership and clear communication.
• Commitment to creating a safe, nurturing environment for student growth.
• Flexibility to work at different sites within the region.
• Proof of graduation from HS or GED and appropriate college units or testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide homework assistance, academic enrichment and physical activity using provided curriculum.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging for students.
• Support students in making positive behavior choices and enforce discipline when needed.
• Engage children and youth by following and helping with lesson plans.
• Ensure student safety by assisting in setup, breakdown, and site maintenance.
