Job summary

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking student Peer Mentors to support peers with intellectual disabilities within the Career Studies Program. Mentors will accompany classes, provide academic and social support, and participate in campus clubs or events as needed.

This is a paid, part-time student position with flexible hours and the potential for as little as 2 hours per week up to 20 hours per week. Remote work may be limited by program policy.

Paid Position & Hours

In this paid opening, hours are flexible and may include as little as two hours per week or as many as 20 hours per week.

Background Checks/Clearances

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
