Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Kokomo, IN, is seeking a part-time Career Coach to assist students with defining career goals and utilizing campus career resources. You will coach individuals and groups, help with resumes, LinkedIn profiles, mock interviews, and employer engagement activities, aligning with campus needs and FERPA guidelines.

The role reports to the Executive Director of Student Life and Career Development and collaborates with the Ivy + Career Link Talent Connection Manager,

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years in career development or coaching.
• Familiarity with standard career assessments preferred (Myers-Briggs, Strong, CliftonStrengths).
• Ability to promote an inclusive environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and tracks progress of students in one-to-one and group coaching.
• Partner with campus staff to provide pre-Ivy Tech and orientation experiences for career and program selection.
• Promote career coaching opportunities on campus and virtually; deliver career-focused events.
• Participate in meetings and professional development activities.
• Perform related duties within FERPA and regulatory standards.
