Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College seeks an Early College, Indiana College Core (ICC), and Postsecondary Pathways Coordinator to lead and coordinate dual credit initiatives. The role supports strategic programs, strengthens K–12 partnerships, and aligns coursework with Ivy Tech credentials to foster student success and completion.

The position collaborates with Ivy Tech departments, college leadership, and school partners to expand opportunities, monitor progress, and advance completion strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in education, higher education administration, public affairs, social services, business, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience coordinating programs, projects, initiatives, or partnerships in higher education, K–12 education, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate, implement, evaluate, and improve programs and initiatives while developing collaborative partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with students, families, educators, administrators, and community partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, monitor outcomes, manage multiple priorities and timelines, exercise independent judgment, solve problems, and make recommendations to support program effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate Early College initiatives in collaboration with K–12 partners and Ivy Tech stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and improve Early College programming.
  • Provide guidance and support to partner schools to strengthen opportunities for students.
  • Align Early College programming with Ivy Tech academic pathways and credentials.
  • Coordinate ICC implementation efforts with K–12 partners and maintain ICC resources and communications.
  • Monitor student progress toward ICC completion and promote better completion outcomes.
  • Collaborate with counselors, administrators, and Ivy Tech stakeholders to increase ICC participation.
  • Coordinate pathway planning efforts to align dual credit opportunities with student goals.
  • Promote Credentials of Value and stackable credential pathways.
  • Support course sequencing to advance certificates, technical certificates, and degrees.
  • Monitor program outcomes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and materials to promote Early College, ICC, and pathway opportunities.
  • Maintain records and assist with program and grant reporting requirements.

Job description

Coordinate and lead assigned Early College, Indiana College Core (ICC), and postsecondary pathway initiatives that support student success, credential attainment, and seamless transitions from high school to college. This position supports the Director of Dual Credit & Early College by implementing strategic initiatives, coordinating program activities, developing K–12 partnerships, monitoring student progress, and advancing completion strategies aligned with Ivy Tech credentials of value.

The Early College & Postsecondary Pathways Coordinator collaborates with K–12 partners, Ivy Tech academic departments, college leadership, and internal stakeholders to expand Early College opportunities, strengthen ICC completion efforts, align dual credit coursework with student goals, and support successful student transitions from high school to postsecondary education.

Salary

$38,289 to $59,805 Compensation will be commensurate with the requirements of the position and the candidate’s relevant experience and education.

Major Responsibilities
Early College Initiatives
  • Lead and coordinate assigned Early College initiatives in collaboration with K–12 partners and internal Ivy Tech stakeholders.
  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Early College programming.
  • Provide resources, guidance, and support to partner schools to strengthen Early College opportunities for students.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align Early College programming with Ivy Tech academic pathways and credentials.
Indiana College Core Implementation
  • Coordinate Indiana College Core implementation efforts with assigned K–12 partners.
  • Maintain and update ICC resources, communication materials, and informational tools.
  • Monitor students’ progress toward ICC completion and identify opportunities to improve completion outcomes.
  • Promote intentional course scheduling and pathway planning strategies that support ICC completion.
  • Collaborate with school counselors, administrators, and Ivy Tech stakeholders to increase ICC participation and completion.
Indiana College Core Postsecondary Pathways and Credentials of Value
  • Coordinate pathway planning efforts with partner schools to align dual credit opportunities with student academic and career goals.
  • Promote Credentials of Value and stackable credential pathways available through Ivy Tech.
  • Support intentional course sequencing to assist students in progressing toward certificates, technical certificates, associate degrees, and transfer opportunities.
  • Collaborate with academic departments and K–12 partners to identify and strengthen pathway opportunities.
Student Success and Completion
  • Monitor student completion data and identify strategies to improve credential attainment.
  • Coordinate outreach efforts with schools and students to support progress toward completion.
  • Support transition initiatives that connect high school students to continued success at Ivy Tech.
  • Develop and implement strategies that improve student engagement, persistence, and completion outcomes.
School Partnerships and Program Support
  • Serve as a liaison for assigned K–12 partner schools.
  • Conduct regular school visits to support Early College, ICC, pathway planning, and student success initiatives, including grant-related activities such as RECN 2.0.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with counselors, administrators, dual credit coordinators, and other school stakeholders.
  • Develop presentations, resources, and communications to promote Early College, ICC, pathways, and completion opportunities.
  • Maintain documentation and assist with program and grant reporting requirements.
Data, Systems, and Continuous Improvement
  • Utilize Ivy Tech data systems and reporting resources to monitor program effectiveness and student outcomes.
  • Maintain appropriate records and documentation related to program activities, student progress, and partner engagement.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend strategies to strengthen Early College and pathway initiatives.
  • Stay current with Ivy Tech, IDOE, Commission for Higher Education (CHE), accreditation, and other stakeholder initiatives impacting Dual Credit, Early College, and postsecondary pathways.
Other Responsibilities

All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), institutional policies, accreditation standards, and professional standards.

Minimum Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required in education, higher education administration, public affairs, social services, business, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience coordinating programs, projects, initiatives, or partnerships in higher education, K–12 education, or a related field, including experience working with students, educators, administrators, and/or community partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate, implement, evaluate, and improve programs and initiatives while developing collaborative partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with students, families, educators, administrators, and community partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, monitor outcomes, manage multiple priorities and timelines, exercise independent judgment, solve problems, and make recommendations to support program effectiveness.
  • Proficiency with student information systems, data reporting tools, and educational technology platforms preferred, ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling student and institutional information, and ability to travel throughout northeast Indiana to support partner schools and program initiatives.
