Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking a Structural Design Engineer for a part-time role in West Chester, OH. You will collaborate with engineering and CAD teams to prepare drawings and calculations for submittals, while supporting product integration into site plans.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering degree (structural emphasis), EIT preferred, 2+ years' experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and structural analysis software. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with civil/structural emphasis.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years on civil engineering projects.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Excel.
• Experience with AutoCAD and structural analysis software.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings and calculations for submittals.
• Collaborate with sales, CAD, and field staff to integrate products into site plans.
• Perform structural analysis for bridges, including superstructures and foundations.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure proper fabrication.
• Develop and update specifications and technical literature.
