Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions in West Chester, OH is seeking a Structural Design Engineer for a part-time role (~24 hours/week). You'll collaborate with Engineering and CAD teams to prepare submittals and integrate Contech's precast bridge products into site plans.

You will perform structural analysis of bridge elements, support manufacturing, coordinate with sales, and help develop specifications and technical literature while pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Civil with structural emphasis preferred.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of civil engineering project experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Excel.
• Experience with AutoCAD, finite element analysis, or structural analysis software preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong teamwork and client relationships.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings and calculations for submittals.
• Perform structural analysis and design of bridge elements.
• Coordinate with field sales and manufacturing teams.
