Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to collaborate with Engineering and CAD teams to prepare engineering drawings and calculations for customers.

You will analyze bridge elements, support manufacturing, and coordinate with sales to integrate products into site plans, while updating specifications and technical literature. A Civil Eng. degree and EIT are valued, with 2+ years on civil projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; EIT preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Excel is required.
• Experience with AutoCAD and FE analysis software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Product integration: assist field sales by aligning Contech products with site plans; prepare drawings and calculations.
• Structural analysis and design of bridge elements including superstructures and foundations.
• Coordinate with field sales and manufacturing to resolve design, fabrication, and installation questions.
• Maintain knowledge of governing specs and contribute to creating and updating specifications.
• Assist in writing technical papers and product literature for stakeholders.
• Stay current with civil/structural engineering knowledge and certifications.
