Job summary
Chesterfield County is seeking an Environmental Engineering professional to support the Storm Sewer Infrastructure Management program under the MS4 permit. The role involves evaluating infrastructure, maintaining GIS layers, and generating data-driven reports for state and federal agencies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field and one year of experience in the environmental field.
- Strong PC skills and experience with GIS software and database management are required.
- Must have the ability to conduct field activities in a variety of locations.
Responsibilities
- Assist Stormwater Compliance Specialist with coordination and implementation of the Storm Sewer Infrastructure Management program under the MS4 permit.
- Conduct evaluations of storm sewer infrastructure to assess condition and support maintenance planning.
- Maintain field notes, databases and GIS storm sewer layers; generate maps and review plans.
- Prepare reports for submittal to State and Federal regulatory agencies.
- Performs other work as required.
