Responsibilities

• Maintain an alert, highly visible position at the main entrance to deter shoplifters and security problems.
• Present a professional demeanor and acknowledge customers entering and exiting the facility.
• Monitor bags to detect unauthorized items leaving the store and report suspicious activity.
• Check boxes and perform floor checks as directed by store management.
• Secure the front door at closing and document incidents in an official log.
• Communicate incidents to management and the Loss Prevention Department.
• Assist management in handling individuals displaying disruptive behavior.
