• Store Location: Cottonwood Heights, UT, 6972 S PARK CENTRE DR, 84121
• Type: Part Time
• Wage: $14 - $17/hour

Responsibilities

1. Sell Deseret Book products and services in a retail environment.
2. Deliver excellent customer service.
3. Oversee store operations such as cashiering, gift wrapping, merchandise presentation, shipping/receiving, and store recovery.
4. Supervise, train, and motivate store associates.
5. Assign tasks and ensure their timely completion.
6. Perform store opening and closing duties.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Deseret Book products, policies, and procedures preferred.
• Ability to coach and lead staff.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with good teamwork skills.
• Computer and cashiering skills are helpful.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, and Saturdays.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and staff.
• Ability to identify and locate products for customers.
• Physical ability to stand long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
