Job summary

The UPS Store in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a part‑time Sales & Customer Service Associate to deliver outstanding service while handling shipping, printing, and POS tasks. The role offers about 25–30 hours per week with an hourly wage of $15–$16 DOE, and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing shipments, operating copy/print/lamination equipment, and providing accurate product information.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check
• High school diploma or GED required
• Retail/customer service experience
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Non‑smoking environment
• Very flexible, part‑time schedule that may span Monday through Saturday during seasonal peak periods
• Must limit cell phone use to breaks and lunch time

Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk‑in customers and telephone inquiries
• May open and/or close the store and perform end‑of‑day accounting
• Operates POS equipment
• Assists with faxing, copying, laminating, binding, and other center functions
• Assists customers with packaging and shipping, selling appropriate materials
• Provides completed shipping documentation
• Takes ownership of customer problems and offers viable solutions
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must arrive by 8:15am (Mon-Fri) and 9:45am (Sat) if opening
• Must be able to stay until 7:15pm (Mon-Fri) and 3:30pm (Sat) if closing
• Must be able to stand for a full 8 hour shift
