Job summary

The UPS Store #1565 in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Part-Time Center Associate to deliver world-class customer service by handling packages, operating copy and bindery equipment, and assisting customers with product and service options. The role requires a friendly, professional demeanor and a willingness to learn all aspects of the business.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong computer skills, excellent phone and communication abilities, and is able to lift 50+ pounds

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
• Outstanding phone skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and stand for long periods.
• Willing and able to work 25 to 30 hours per week for a 7-day work week.
• Must be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
• Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership.
• Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions.
• Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
