Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Stores in Lake Zurich, Illinois, is seeking a Store Processor to help process donated goods, tag and price items, and prepare them for sale to support community programs.

You will track production numbers, move merchandise to the sales floor or shipping areas, aid donors with receipts, and maintain clean, organized work spaces. A strong team mindset and reliability are essential.

Hours are 10:00am-3:00pm, part-time up to 28 hours/week, with a pay rate of $15.00-$16.00/hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or current student pursuing studies.
• Strong English communication for team interactions.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Professional appearance and reliable team member.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise according to guidelines.
• Track and report production numbers in assigned locations.
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor or to designated shipping locations.
• Assist donors with donations, receipts, and donor information.
• Receives ARC Center Trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.
• Meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stocking.
